A founder's calendar is a stack of one-hour conversations, each with a follow-up that decides whether it mattered.
Investor meetings generate homework. A partner asks three specific questions about retention, mentions two people worth talking to, and signals what they would need to see before a second meeting. Miss one of those and the follow-up email is weaker than the meeting was. Customer discovery has the opposite problem: you are trying hard not to lead the witness, which means listening and asking rather than typing. Questions, answered
Should I record an investor meeting?
Only if you tell them and they are comfortable with it. Some investors will say no, and that answer should be respected without argument. Where it is fine, recording means your follow-up addresses exactly the questions asked. Recording rules vary by country and by US state, so check where you are before making it a habit.
Is $19 a month reasonable for an early-stage team?
Pro is $19 a month for unlimited meetings, up to 3 hours per recording and a fair-use cap of 25 hours of audio a month, which covers heavy daily meeting use for one person. Before paying, the free tier gives you one meeting of up to 30 minutes with no card, so you can test it on a real conversation.
Can my cofounder see the same meetings?
Not from their own login yet — accounts are individual, and a Team plan is listed as coming soon. In practice you copy the finished minutes and paste them wherever the company already works, which for most early teams is a shared doc or a channel. The recording and transcript stay in the account that made them.
Does anything get posted or shared automatically?
No. There is no feed, no bot that appears in anyone's calendar, and nothing is shared unless you share it. Recordings and notes sit in private storage with row-level security so only your account can reach them, and you can delete any meeting and its audio permanently at any time.
