Terms of Service

1. The Service

GetNotes lets you record or upload meeting audio and returns a transcript with speaker labels and AI-generated minutes (a summary, decisions and action items). The Service runs in your web browser. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use GetNotes. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@getnotes.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to record or process audio you have no right to record, or in violation of any law.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have permission to submit.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models.

4. Recording consent and legal compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording conversations. These laws vary by country, state and context, and some require the consent of everyone being recorded. You agree to obtain any consent required before recording a meeting, to inform participants where appropriate, and to stop recording if required. GetNotes provides a tool; it does not provide legal advice, is not a party to your meetings, and assumes no responsibility for how you record them.

5. Your content and ownership

As between you and us, you own the audio, transcripts and notes associated with your account (“Your Content”). You grant GetNotes a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to transcribe your audio and generate your notes.

We do not use Your Content to train our models or to advertise, and we do not sell it. You can delete Your Content at any time, which terminates our license to it except for backups retained for a limited period or records we must keep by law.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Free. A one-time trial that includes your first three meetings, up to 30 minutes each, with no credit card required.
• Pro. $19 per month. Includes unlimited meetings, recordings up to three hours each, and a fair-use allowance of 25 hours of processed audio per month. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel Pro at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Pro access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
• We may change our prices or plan limits; we will give reasonable notice of material changes, and changes will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.

7. AI transcripts and notes — accuracy

GetNotes uses automated speech-to-text and AI to produce transcripts and notes. These outputs may contain errors, omissions or misattributions, particularly with difficult audio, overlapping speakers, accents, or specialized terminology. GetNotes is not a certified transcription service and makes no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, and you should not treat them as a legal, medical, financial or official record unless you have verified them yourself.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including for hosting, storage, transcription, AI generation and payments). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that outputs will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetNotes and GREETFLOW AI CONSULTING LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetNotes and GREETFLOW AI CONSULTING LLC from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law — including any claim relating to recording a conversation without the required consent.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GREETFLOW AI CONSULTING LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
